Everyone hates fitness grams. I know I do. There's nothing more degrading, whether you're bigger or smaller, than doing one measly push up next to someone who can do 20 or more. Well, some students were absent yesterday, thinking that they could skip it and not have to do it again and it'd be over with. Think again, my peers. There were two Pentecostal girls who had to do it today, along with an underclassman boy. The Pentecostal girls didn't think they would have to because of the fact that they're in skirts. It would be weird to have someone doing push ups behind you and see up their skirt, so they had to do it today. The girls and the boy had to be separated. The conversation went like this between him and the Coach hosting the fitness gram, which is (amazing) to say the least.
Boy: Where should I go? *The coach points to the concession area of the gym, where there is a wall separating the gym from the "room"
Coach: Get behind the wall and I'll do ya'. (Wait, it gets better)
Later in class, two other girls who were in there came back and told the story. Sure enough, everyone was laughing. The unsuspecting boy comes in a few minutes later, to which a fellow student says:
Girl: Hey, get behind that wall and I'll do ya. (class laughs)
Teacher: So, what all did the coach say to you?
Boy: Oh, not much. Just thank you.
Everyone died laughing. No joke. The classroom broke out, and some people were even crying cause they were laughing so hard.
This might be one of those "you had to be there moments" but, you know, I just had to share this, and I hope you liked it.

Lies Make Friends

I'm in my Yearbook class, not really working on Yearbook obviously. It's opened in a different tab, but I'm not really paying much attention to it. I'm the editor, I have a role to fulfill, and I need to get my act together, but it's hard to talk about when your best friend since 3rd grade is being...naive.
I wrote her a note last week saying that her boyfriend may or may not be what he says he is. I chose the note format because I cannot really express my feelings well through words, and I didn't want anyone else around to hear about his potential lies. She further ignored me for the rest of the day. I was expecting SOME anger, but not enough to not talk to me for a whole week. She didn't say a thing at all.
However, she kept coming to school with her boyfriend's jacket, so I guessed that she didn't confront him - that or she had and found that he was innocent of the crimes that SOMEONE had said he had done. These, in case you're wondering, include, but are not limited to:
I got to school today, and was still given the cold shoulder. Not a word, not even when she sneezed and I said bless you. Anyway, I wrote a note to my other friend, who said that her sister told her not to talk to me until I APOLOGIZED. Me? Apologize? Haha. No. Not going to happen. I told wrote that friend #1 could shove it up her butt before I did. Really, it was stupid. I was trying to be a good friend, and I even told her IN THE NOTE that I was not completely sure of the statements given to me, and that It may or may not be true. I said that. I don't deserve the silent treatment for trying to be a good friend, and I don't have to apologize for it either.
My friend told us to sit down and talk it out. We did. She sat there, mostly staring off into space, not really saying a word. She only said that she didn't talk to me because she "had nothing to say". She also said that she looked up the guy on FB, saying that it wasn't her boyfriend, and that he didn't have a "tattoo" like the guy in the picture. I found out later that she had lied. After our talk, she acted like everything was OK again.
Pft. Right. She can get herself hurt, but I warned her. I'll even be a good friend and not tell her "I told you so" when that time comes.

Reviews & Stuff
Hola, readers. Ha. I guess I really shouldn't say that because there's only been about 3 views on my blog. Frankly, I don't blame anyone for passing it up, and saying that my previous (and first) blog was a complete bore, since it was.
But today, I'd like to discuss a few movies, songs, and some books I have recently come across and share them with you.
First of all, there's the Wrath of the Titans. Oh. My. Gosh. It was so good! It has been, probably, one of the best movies I have seen in 3D, and I hate 3D! The cinematography was amazing, and so was the CG. When you have those 3D glasses on in the theatre, there are actually times when you freak out because something random comes at your face! That's pretty exciting because now-a-days, there is rarely ever that rogue peice of material that comes flying at you.
Anyway, Wrath of the Titans is a sequal to Clash of the Titans. The story followers Purseus, now with a son, and his wife passed away, is commissioned by his father to help him beat Hades, who is trying to raise Kronos, and gain immortality. He refuses, but eventually decides to after an *epic* fight scene between him and, what appears to be, a Chimera. Everything after this point, just gets completely awesome. I highly reccommend this movie to anyone who has seen and liked Clash of the Titans and the Immortals.
Books -
The Immortal Instruments series(is a very good story if you like vampires, werewolves, and all those other sort of creatures. I suggest that you Google it if you're interested. However, do NOT read the plot. There are spoilers!
The Immortal Series is good if you like a good romance. There are also vampires in this one, but don't worry, like in the II, they do not sparkle.
Maximum Ride Series is always good if you like a sci-fi type of book. I'm sure most of you have heard of it, but if you haven't read it, then, I suggest you do. This series will keep you on the edge of your chair and wondering what would happen next.
As for songs, there has been so many on the radio, that I just can't keep up with them anymore. So, instead of saying how one or two songs are epic, here are a list of my likes and dislikes.

I dislike these songs because of the sheer fact that they are, in my opinion, horrible. Call Me Maybe because it's repetitive. My boyfriend, however, loves this song. It kind of creeps me out. Ha.
Starships because of the fact that...well, the song kind of speaks for itself.
Dance? Because of the fact it's all about butts. No good music here. Not at all. Besides, when you listen to it on the radio, its like every other word is a bleep. Also, Nicki Minaj's part is, needless to say, gross.

- Boyfriend - Justin Beiber
I dislike Justin Beiber as much as everyone else on the internet does, but this song shows that he's gone through puberty, at the ripe age of 18. Took him long enough, huh?

Do Better
Right now, I'm listening to Do Better by Say Anything, courtesy of Pandora. It kind of made me feel better after the reviews I just read. I just got my UIL results, and needless to say, I am not happy with them. For those of you who do not know what UIL is, well, it's United Interschoolastic League (I'm pretty sure that's what it is), and it's a huge deal in Texas, if it's not in your states too, and I love doing it. I participate in a lot of events every year, and sometimes get placed in others just because!
Well, my favorite thing to do is write, and those are the main events that I do - News, Feature, and Editorial Writing is what I participate in. I also compete in Computer Applications (which is using Word, Access, and Excel; if you have a BCIS class, you know what I'm referring to). Anyhow, I usually place in more than one event, and, this year, I placed in only one - one that I got in just this year! You would think that I would have placed in any of the writing ones, or the Computer, but no. I placed in Literary Criticism. I'm not complaining that I did, I'm just upset that I didn't in my writing events.
After finding out my results a few months ago, I was disappointed enough. Then, to rub it in, I got the actual writings I did, and the teachers' supposed constructive criticism. One featured a statement saying "You need to work on the editorial format and take a stronger stance." This is fine. This kind of criticism is perfect for me. Then, reading further, she (I'm assuming it is a she, as the writing is curly and feminine), said my stance was very passive, and my solution to the problem in the prompt was too passive as well. It's an Editorial Writing! You cannot go out and say "Hey, screw your statement, I do what I want!" My writing was "elegant" and well thought-out. It wasn't brash or harsh. I try to keep it neat.
Then, reading from the same paper, she said "Where did this come from?" This really doesn't make sense to you, the reader, because you haven't seen the prompt. The most I can tell you, without being even more long-winded than I already have been is that (clearly) in the prompt I was given to write from there was something about the marching band wanting new uniforms, and I used that in my writing. However, the grader, must have not read the prompt thoroughly. All in all, this was disappointing enough, and to read my other competitive entry (also graded by the same person), said the same thing about another statement I said in my paper. How can you grade something when you haven't even read the prompt?
People like this annoy me so much! And, I'm sorry to who ever may read this as it could be seen as tl;dr, but I had to get this off my chest. Anyway, more to be written later.
