Doin' the Flipside

Song: Fake It by Seether,  Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park, & Headstrong by Trapt
Time: 9:55
Mood: Goin' Strong

I didn't want the only blog I posted today to be negative, so I decided to post another. This could be a borderline obsessive blogger thing to do, but whatever. I like to write. I might even be a compulsive sharer. Oh well, more for you to ogle at, hm? Haha.

Anyway, I do love my life when my mom isn't being so rude to me. She can be nice sometimes, you know. Everyone has their good and bad sides. Except Mother Teressa. She was the epitome of sainthood. Anyway, I do love my mom and my dad, though I do do a lot for them and sometimes they don't seem to notice.

One of the things to get my mind off of the bad things that happen is writing, or music. Obviously, since I put the music I'm listening to as I WRITE this.

Speaking of writing, I had the most epically freaky dream ever the other night. I won't go into gruesome detail (unless someone was to comment and ask), but it was pretty gross. Lots of blood and guts and gore. It was so weird, that I just might in fact try to make a novel out of it.

Anyway, here are some of my blessings I should be counting every day, ones I thought of when I made this blog will be in the same font as this. Every day after this, the fonts will change as I think of them. Here they are, not in any particular order except for maybe the first 10:

  1. I'm alive
  2. My family
  3. Friends
  4. Will
  5. The fact I have an education, and am continuing to further myself
  6. I have food every day, not every other day or once a week like some people in the world
  7. I have clean water
  8. There is clean air where I live (for the most part)
  9. I live in the country
  10. I do not live in poverty, though we do sometimes struggle to get by
  11. I respect money
  12. I have opportunities
  13. I have freedoms not given in any other country in the world
  14. I have people who love me
  15. I am NOT a psychopathic killer (Hey, it might sound silly, but I wouldn't want to be one)

Judas

Song: All Again for You by We The Kings & Let It Roll by All Time Low
Time: 10:54
Mood: Keepin' on, keepin' on.

There've been a lot of things that I've done that I'm not proud of, but at least I admit it. However, some people walk around like they're the best thing since sliced bread, and their holier-than-thou mindset drives me crazy.
I don't go to church, but at least I'm knowledgeable in the Bible. Most people at my school can quote verses, unlike myself, but the meaning of these verses go unnoticed, and are there only for throwing at people who call them un-Christian. At least I know what the meaning of the words are - at least I believe I do. The Bible, of course, can be taken to mean many different ways, but one thing I know that it's clear on is that making a spectacle of praying - like praying *loudly* in public, or shouting out prayers, etc, holds no meaning to God.  In fact, if this is done, it's more than likely that the person that's doing this ISN'T a true Christian. More than likely, these people pretend to be something their not because they can't be themselves, because they're ashamed. But that's just what I think.
I know this blog post is probably unfavorable, but this is for my thoughts and feelings, not necessarily to keep the readers happy, and if someone was to comment on this post to call me something derogatory, I probably wouldn't comment, and it wouldn't be deleted because it's their opinion of me, and who am I to hinder their thoughts?

Any who.. I'll be signing off now, but here's a pretty picture for you!

What is Love?

Song: Memories by Panic! At the Disco, and I Want You Back by N'Sync (gotta relive those memories sometime!)
Time: 10:22
Mood: Indifferent :\

I'm supposed to be in my Math class, but we didn't really have anything else to do, so I decided to get on the computer and write. However, it's getting a little late into the period, so, I don't have a lot of time.

But, there's a few things I have on my mind, and I was wanting to share these with other people who are in a relationship - long term or otherwise (except for maybe just FWB's) that people should think about before they move on with their relationship.

You should already know about their goals, their likes and dislikes, (or learning them) that he or texts at 2 in the morning just to say goodnight/I love you, etc, but you may still feel a little insecure. Here are some questions I have had, and here are some of my thoughts:

  • Is he or she who she really says she is?  Their friends that they keep, and the activities that they do throughout the day is usually a good way to see if someone is who they pretend to be - a nice person may volunteer, while a closed-off person may work all the time.

  • Is he or she true to you?  Well, don't jump to conclusions in any situation. The best thing to do is be sure in yourself. If you're confident in your relationship with your significan other, the better your relationship will be. If he or she looks at an attractive person, don't get discouraged. It's okay to just look.

  • Are they not giving you enough attention? Once again, don't get discouraged. They could be busy at work or busy with school, perhaps both. The best thing you can do is be there for them during the time, and when they finally have free time, go out, do something with your spouce! It'll show them that you can stick with them through tough times.

  • Do they text other people when they're around you?  Obviously, if they're texting other people when they're around you, it must not be too bad, right? They're not hiding anything, so it's not bad. If you feel like they ARE hiding something, however, just say "Hey, can I look at your phone?" But, don't just say that, say "You can look through mine, too, if you want." It shows that you're curious, but if neither of you have nothing to hide, then everything should be alright.
That's all for now. If any of y'all have any questions about relationships, or anything else, I'd be happy to help. Just leave a comment or whatever and I'll get back to you in my next blog.
This is KaraDianne signing off, and wishing everyone a good day.

Best Class Period Ever

Song: New Divide by Linkin Park
Time: 2:03
Mood: Feelin' like awesomesauce

Everyone hates fitness grams. I know I do. There's nothing more degrading, whether you're bigger or smaller, than doing one measly push up next to someone who can do 20 or more. Well, some students were absent yesterday, thinking that they could skip it and not have to do it again and it'd be over with. Think again, my peers. There were two Pentecostal girls who had to do it today, along with an underclassman boy. The Pentecostal girls didn't think they would have to because of the fact that they're in skirts. It would be weird to have someone doing push ups behind you and see up their skirt, so they had to do it today. The girls and the boy had to be separated. The conversation went like this between him and the Coach hosting the fitness gram, which is (amazing) to say the least.

Boy: Where should I go? *The coach points to the concession area of the gym, where there is a wall separating the gym from the "room"
Coach: Get behind the wall and I'll do ya'.  (Wait, it gets better)

Later in class, two other girls who were in there came back and told the story. Sure enough, everyone was laughing. The unsuspecting boy comes in a few minutes later, to which a fellow student says:

Girl: Hey, get behind that wall and I'll do ya. (class laughs)
Teacher: So, what all did the coach say to you?
Boy: Oh, not much. Just thank you.

Everyone died laughing. No joke. The classroom broke out, and some people were even crying cause they were laughing so hard.

This might be one of those "you had to be there moments" but, you know, I just had to share this, and I hope you liked it.

I'm signing off, but I hope you all have an amazing day. :)
