Things

I don't really know what to title this blog, so I just put things, because basically that's what this is about.

School's been getting tougher, and I'm not really sure what to do. I don't want to talk to anyone about my problems and while I think I should, I just won't. I'm really shy, and I hate asking for help.

Anyway, here are a few random things that may or may not be interesting to the general public about myself.

  • I was going to be named Henry or Hank if I was a boy. Ew.
  • I was named Kara because my mom's cousin never had a girl, and she wanted one really bad, and was actually going to name her Kara.
  • My middle name, Dianne, comes from my aunt, who's middle name is also Dianne.
  • My mom and dad are not married, but I turned out fine. They live together.
  • I used to be addicted to online Poker, and in one day made 100k chips. I was good. But it was illegal.
  • I was one of only 3 Democrats at my school, so when it came to election time I would keep my mouth shut about who I wanted to win, so that I wouldn't get picked on.
  • Sometimes I wonder if things will eventually get easier for me.
  • Sometimes I wonder if Unicorns were ever really real.
  • I also wonder what would happen if DC superheroes were real.
  • I work out because if, for some reason, I was ever transported to an alternate reality where Mortal Kombat was real, I knew I would be dead first.
  • JK I don't work out.
  • I was born on 9/9/93, but was supposed to be born on 9/19/93. My mom was born on 1/19/63, and my dad on 5/19/54. That means we'd all be 5 months apart. XD
  • I have only had one crush on a guy that was severely out of my league. His name was Trent and it was in the 4th-5th grade. He's still freaking cute.
  • I have once yelled at my cat "NO KITTY, THAT'S MY POT PIE. Just so I could have said that I made a reference to South Park.
  • Everything interesting I have ever done has already been done by The Simpsons
  • That is all for now
Hope you enjoyed these random facts about me.

Breaking Up Sucks.

Right now I'm sitting in some lounge and typing this, while someone across from me is on her computer, too. We're probably both on Facebook or something.
There's so much going on this weekend and I'm going home. Great. Lol I really would like to do something, make some friends, but the school schedules things whenever I go home. So unfair. Lol

Anyway, I heard of this website a long time ago that would dump people if you pay this guy 10 dollars. Then, I decided to look it up yesterday and found the website and then found out that they actually record the calls! If you wanna dump someone or break up with someone go to this website right here:

Enjoy the recordings.

Vote for Kara

I've been thinking a lot about presidential debates and I have came up with a few reasons why people should  vote for me, and not the other guys. Here they are:

  • I'm not a politician.
  • I don't have a lot of money.
  • I want people who are wealthy to stay wealthy, but I also want people who are poor to be in a better condition than where they are now.
  • This relates to bullet point one, but, since I am not a politician, and I am not wealthy, that means I can better relate to our country as a whole.
  • I want what's best for the country, and I would do what it takes to create more jobs, etc.
  • I would let companies create new sources of energy, rather than hold them back from helping the American people save money.
  • This point above would help create jobs. ;D
  • I wouldn't avoid certain topics, and I would be prepared for speeches, though I do have a horrible stage freight.
There are several more points that I can't think of, but I can guarantee that if you vote for me, I will make our world a better place. So, when you cast your ballets, vote for Kara, and not the other guys.

This is Kara Skillz and I approve this message.

Terrible at Blogging

Like I said on my other website, I'm terrible at blogging. I forget to get on, and I don't really post every day, much less every month :\
Anyway, here's what I've been up to, and other various things:

1. Moved in with my aunt and uncle, and I have my own room. I got it painted and decorated and everything. Now I just need a desk o-o
2. Has now started college at UTA. It's a huge school, but it's really quite beautiful.
3. Levi's not been the best friend I thought he was.
4. His friend, despite what he thinks, is rather rude, and he doesn't think. I may or may not make a post about his tactlessness later.
5. I don't really have any friends here yet, but it's not like I haven't tried. All in good time, however.
6. Today, I have taken to twitter, and have posted...a lot. I haven't before, but maybe I'll get followers? *wink wink*
7. Still trying to write a book. It's not working.
8. I'm passing all of my classes. Even STATISTICS.
9. I have this new shirt my friend got me. It says "Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr." SO FREAKIN CUTE. <3
10. Finally, I watched one of the FREAKIEST movies yesterday. Okay, two of the freakiest movies. One was called Lovely Molly, and the other... Um, I'm not sure. I'll update this later and tell you what it is, but they're both on netflix under Supernatural Horror. Very weird, very odd.

Ta-ta for now :)

P.s. Lost my camera. It makes me sad.

Doin' the Flipside

Song: Fake It by Seether,  Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park, & Headstrong by Trapt
Time: 9:55
Mood: Goin' Strong

I didn't want the only blog I posted today to be negative, so I decided to post another. This could be a borderline obsessive blogger thing to do, but whatever. I like to write. I might even be a compulsive sharer. Oh well, more for you to ogle at, hm? Haha.

Anyway, I do love my life when my mom isn't being so rude to me. She can be nice sometimes, you know. Everyone has their good and bad sides. Except Mother Teressa. She was the epitome of sainthood. Anyway, I do love my mom and my dad, though I do do a lot for them and sometimes they don't seem to notice.

One of the things to get my mind off of the bad things that happen is writing, or music. Obviously, since I put the music I'm listening to as I WRITE this.

Speaking of writing, I had the most epically freaky dream ever the other night. I won't go into gruesome detail (unless someone was to comment and ask), but it was pretty gross. Lots of blood and guts and gore. It was so weird, that I just might in fact try to make a novel out of it.

Anyway, here are some of my blessings I should be counting every day, ones I thought of when I made this blog will be in the same font as this. Every day after this, the fonts will change as I think of them. Here they are, not in any particular order except for maybe the first 10:

  1. I'm alive
  2. My family
  3. Friends
  4. Will
  5. The fact I have an education, and am continuing to further myself
  6. I have food every day, not every other day or once a week like some people in the world
  7. I have clean water
  8. There is clean air where I live (for the most part)
  9. I live in the country
  10. I do not live in poverty, though we do sometimes struggle to get by
  11. I respect money
  12. I have opportunities
  13. I have freedoms not given in any other country in the world
  14. I have people who love me
  15. I am NOT a psychopathic killer (Hey, it might sound silly, but I wouldn't want to be one)

Judas

Song: All Again for You by We The Kings & Let It Roll by All Time Low
Time: 10:54
Mood: Keepin' on, keepin' on.

There've been a lot of things that I've done that I'm not proud of, but at least I admit it. However, some people walk around like they're the best thing since sliced bread, and their holier-than-thou mindset drives me crazy.
I don't go to church, but at least I'm knowledgeable in the Bible. Most people at my school can quote verses, unlike myself, but the meaning of these verses go unnoticed, and are there only for throwing at people who call them un-Christian. At least I know what the meaning of the words are - at least I believe I do. The Bible, of course, can be taken to mean many different ways, but one thing I know that it's clear on is that making a spectacle of praying - like praying *loudly* in public, or shouting out prayers, etc, holds no meaning to God.  In fact, if this is done, it's more than likely that the person that's doing this ISN'T a true Christian. More than likely, these people pretend to be something their not because they can't be themselves, because they're ashamed. But that's just what I think.
I know this blog post is probably unfavorable, but this is for my thoughts and feelings, not necessarily to keep the readers happy, and if someone was to comment on this post to call me something derogatory, I probably wouldn't comment, and it wouldn't be deleted because it's their opinion of me, and who am I to hinder their thoughts?

Any who.. I'll be signing off now, but here's a pretty picture for you!

What is Love?

Song: Memories by Panic! At the Disco, and I Want You Back by N'Sync (gotta relive those memories sometime!)
Time: 10:22
Mood: Indifferent :\

I'm supposed to be in my Math class, but we didn't really have anything else to do, so I decided to get on the computer and write. However, it's getting a little late into the period, so, I don't have a lot of time.

But, there's a few things I have on my mind, and I was wanting to share these with other people who are in a relationship - long term or otherwise (except for maybe just FWB's) that people should think about before they move on with their relationship.

You should already know about their goals, their likes and dislikes, (or learning them) that he or texts at 2 in the morning just to say goodnight/I love you, etc, but you may still feel a little insecure. Here are some questions I have had, and here are some of my thoughts:

  • Is he or she who she really says she is?  Their friends that they keep, and the activities that they do throughout the day is usually a good way to see if someone is who they pretend to be - a nice person may volunteer, while a closed-off person may work all the time.

  • Is he or she true to you?  Well, don't jump to conclusions in any situation. The best thing to do is be sure in yourself. If you're confident in your relationship with your significan other, the better your relationship will be. If he or she looks at an attractive person, don't get discouraged. It's okay to just look.

  • Are they not giving you enough attention? Once again, don't get discouraged. They could be busy at work or busy with school, perhaps both. The best thing you can do is be there for them during the time, and when they finally have free time, go out, do something with your spouce! It'll show them that you can stick with them through tough times.

  • Do they text other people when they're around you?  Obviously, if they're texting other people when they're around you, it must not be too bad, right? They're not hiding anything, so it's not bad. If you feel like they ARE hiding something, however, just say "Hey, can I look at your phone?" But, don't just say that, say "You can look through mine, too, if you want." It shows that you're curious, but if neither of you have nothing to hide, then everything should be alright.
That's all for now. If any of y'all have any questions about relationships, or anything else, I'd be happy to help. Just leave a comment or whatever and I'll get back to you in my next blog.
This is KaraDianne signing off, and wishing everyone a good day.
